Moi je trouve qu'on voit un peu trop de news busa sur ce forum ces jours ci .Je préfère la brêve originale et surtout un vrai post et non un simple copié/collé
On essaie de faire venir les lecteurs de fabrice mais si c'est pour leur donner le même contenu que celui de Busa ils ne resteront pas longtemps |

Petite question : n'y voyez la aucune aggressivité de ma part, mais Tapas vient de poster le petit article sur le possible retrait du n°23 dans la league, info que j'ai posté en VO il y'a 19h (un poil plus bas dans ce même topic)
Vous préférez rapporter les infos Busa en français pour plus de compréhension pour les nouveaux ou plus jeunes, ou vous préférez les news VO, ou les 2 ?  |

L’Elu devra-t-il faire la place à Dieu himself ? En clair, LeBron James devra-t-il abandonner son numéro de maillot parce que c’était celui de Michael Jordan ? C’est fort possible depuis que David Stern a dans l’idée, selon le Cleveland Pain Dealer, de retirer le numéro 23 comme la ligue de Baseball l’a fait du numéro 42 de Jackie Robinson en 1997. Pas de problème pour LBJ qui a déjà sa solution de secours : le numéro 6 qu’il portait aux Jeux Olympiques de Pékin. Un numéro que l’or lui a appris à aimer.
Mais James ne serait pas le seul concerné par ce problème. Il y a aussi par exemple CJ Watson, Marcus Camby, Devin Brown, Quentin Richardson, Jason Richardson…

Shaq Would Welcome Trade To New York

According to people close to Shaquille O’Neal, the Suns center would welcome a trade to the Knicks if such a deal could be worked out.
O'Neal is due $20 million for the 2009-10 season, but will then become a free agent. A trade would save the cost-conscious Suns, while not interfering with New York's plans for the summer of 2010.

Les Mavs n'ont pas besoin de Davis mais alors pas du tout. Tu prends pas un joueur de 30 ans contrat max sur 6 ans si t'en a pas clairement besoin.

LeBron James cherishes the number six, which he wore with Team USA in Beijing and still does during practices with the Cavaliers.
"It's interesting to think about. I feel like 6 is my number, too," James told the Cleveland Plain Dealer about the prospect of switching.
"If the NBA retired 23 because of Michael [Jordan] like baseball did with Jackie Robinson [42], I would definitely switch it. Maybe I would someday, we'll see," he said.
James wear No. 23 because of Jordan, his childhood hero.

Ouais je viens de voir ca ... en gros le kidd il va devenir rentable à partir de l'année prochaine, quand il va signer 3 ans pour jouer jusqu'à 40 ans comme il a dit vouloir le faire dans une interview il y a pas longtemps et pour le minimum. Effectivement Dallas a pas intéret à le lacher parce que c'est presque sur qu'il va resigner et pour presque rien.

Dilemne effectivement. Alléger la masse salariale considérablement ou jouer le coup à fond avec cette équipe. Perso, comme le dit l'article, je préfèrerais que NO attende de voir le parcours de l'équipe en POs avant de se décider.
Après, y a toujours Armstrong dérrière Chandler et puis Smith et Wilcox font des backups intéressants. Armstrong a le potentiel pour bien progresser, mais reste terriblement frustrant tant il est à l'ouest par moments.
Faut aussi voir le (très gros) salaire de Chandler:

Je peux comprendre les Hornets. Sources say Oklahoma City is going after New Orleans center Tyson Chandler, with the Hornets known to be seriously interested in slicing payroll and with the Thunder capable of offering the Hornets two replacement big men with expiring contracts (Joe Smith and Chris Wilcox) as well as one of its five first-round picks in the next two drafts.
You'd like to think that the Hornets would first try to get through this season, see how far they go in the postseason and then shop Chandler closer to the draft if moving him remains their best money-saving option, since trading its interior defensive anchor -- in spite of Chandler's struggles this season -- would force us to reevaluate New Orleans' status as a contender. Avec Joe Smith et Chris Wilcox, y'a vraiment des chances que les Hornets ne soient plus considérés comme des contenders... Apparement, les finances obligeraient le club à se séparer de Chandler, même si certains insiders mettent en avant la saison pas terrible du joueur.

La principale différence c'estla durée du contrat

le contrat de kidd est plus important que celui du Baron ??? Sinon un Baron + Camby, voir kaman, c'est un pote de dirk depuis les JO et leur association sous le maillot allemand, mais j'adore camby !! contre Kidd et stackhouse et son gros contrat qui donne envi à tout le monde vu qu'il finit à la fin de la saison.

Le % au shoot c'est le point faible de Baron ok, mais dans une team qui lui correspond il peut tourner à 43% deux saisons de suite comme à GWs
Et comme je le disais l'autre jour dans les autres secteurs du jeu il est trés bon ou alors j'attends les arguments..
Dés son départ pour LAC j'étais persuadé qu'il ferait une mauvaise saison sous les ordres de Dunleavy |

J'suis d'accord avec toi Larry, sauf qu'aujourd'hui avec la blessure de J.Terry la situation est légèrement différente aux Mavs, et trouver d'autres scoreurs que Dirk (qui plante pas mal en ce moment...) devient problématique.
Même la différence d'âge ne vous insiterez pas à tenter la chose ? |

| Je ne pense pas que le rôle de Kidd soit de scorer. Il y a déja Dirk, Howard et Terry qui scorent. Donc j'ai des doutes sur le besoin réel d'avoir un mec comme Baron, quand Kidd commence à mieux s'intégrer au jeu des Mavs. |

Y'a pas besoin de Bidul' pour comprendre que Baron Davis se casse pas le cul aux Clippers, vu que la saison est morte depuis longtemps !!
Perso je dis bien, à choisir entre un Baron Davis capable de grosses perfs et un Jason Kidd qui a de plus en plus de mal à scorer 10pts, je choisis facilement le Baron !
Autre chose Kidd est proche des 36ans, Baron aura bientôt 30 ! 6ans d'écart ca peut motiver un peu le front-office non ?

VLADIMIR KONDRASHIN - Coach, was known as the founder of basketball in Leningrad where he would compile an overall record of 727-365. He led the Soviet Union National Team to the Olympic Gold Medal in 1972, the Olympic Bronze Medal in 1976, the World Championship Gold Medal in 1974 and won European Championships in Germany, Spain and the former Yugoslavia.
MACIEL "UBIRATAN" PERIERA - Player, was known as "The King" in his native Brazil. He would earn a gold medal at the 1963 World Championships and a Bronze Medal at the 1964 Olympics while winning five South American Championships and 11 titles in the Paulista League in Brazil. "The King" played in three Olympic Games with Brazil and was awarded the "Order of Merit" Award from FIBA in 2002.
VETERAN'S COMMITTEE FINALIST
RICHARD GUERIN - Player, was a six time NBA All Star (1958-1963) and scored 14,676 points, 4,278 rebounds and 4,211 assists during a pro career with the Knicks (1956-63), St. Louis Hawks (1963-67) and Atlanta Hawks (1968-70). Guerin was the first Knick to score 2,000 points in a single season, and averaged 20.1 ppg as a member of the Knicks. Born in Bronx, NY, Guerin played at Iona College, where as a senior he averaged 24.7 ppg and was named an All-America. Guerin was also a player/coach for both the St. Louis and Atlanta Hawks, compiling a 327-291 record while being named NBA Coach of the Year in 1968.
JOHNNY "RED" KERR - Contributor, has a career that included player, coach, executive and broadcaster. A three-time NBA All-Star and member of the NBA Champion Syracuse Nationals as a player, Kerr would be named NBA Coach of the Year in 1967 with the Chicago Bulls and was the only coach in league history to lead an expansion team to the playoffs in the first season. Since 1975, Kerr has served as color commentator for the Bulls. |
