Preliminary Round
Brno, Ostrava (23rd-25th September – 24 games)
The 16 teams are drawn into four groups (A, B, C, D) of four teams each in the Preliminary Round.
The three teams placed 1st-3rd in each group will qualify for the Eight-Final Round.
The teams placed 4th in each group will qualify for the Classification Round for 13th-16th places to be played in Karlovy Vary.
Groups A and B in Ostrava
Groups C and D in Brno
Eight-Final Round
Brno, Ostrava (27th-29th September – 18 games)
The 12 teams that qualified from the Preliminary Round will be divided into two groups (E, F) of six teams each.
The three teams placed 1st-3rd from groups A and B will play in Group E in Ostrava.
The three teams placed 1st-3rd from groups C and D will play in Group F in Brno.
Each team will play the three new teams in its own group (the final scores of all games played in the Preliminary Round are valid for this Round).
The teams placed 1st-4th in each group will qualify for the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals in Karlovy Vary.
The teams placed 5th and 6th in each group will qualify for the Classification Round for 9th-12th place in Karlovy Vary.
Group E in Ostrava
Group F in Brno
13th-16th place games
Karlovy Vary (28th-29th September – 4 games)
The teams placed 13th-16th return home after their last game.
9th-12th place games
Karlovy Vary (1st-2nd October – 4 games)
Quarter-Finals
Karlovy Vary (1st October – 4 games)
The winners of the Quarter-Finals will qualify for the Semi-Finals.
The losers will qualify for the 5th-8th place games.
Semi-Finals
Karlovy Vary (2nd October – 2 games)
The winners of the Semi-Finals will qualify for the Final.
The losers will qualify for the 3rd place game.
Final + games for 3rd, 5th and 7th places
Karlovy Vary (3rd October – 4 games)
